I created an empty backup for the Roland TR-8S.
All 128 kits are preloaded with an ACB TR-909 kit, and each pattern is assigned to the corresponding kit. So Pattern 1 is assigned to Kit 1, Pattern 2 is assigned to Kit 2, and so on. Delay and reverb sends have been set to zero for each instrument.

I don’t own one yet, but am tempted to try one after seeing this latest update. Coming from Elektron it was the lack of probability that was putting me off. Now I have no excuse 😂
Thinking of going for the TR-6S for the size and battery power, but not sure whether only having 6 tracks would be enough as that annoyed me on the Model Cycles. I always found I need just one more track! Any owners of the TR-6S here? How do you find the track limitation?

Wow, great update! I honestly thought Roland were done with the TR-8S. Opening up the FM modelling to access more parameters was definitely on my wish list. The sub-step probability and master probability looks really good. I don’t think the Elektron machines can do that?
