I bought a Polyend Tracker a few days ago. I don’t think the audio quality is quite as good as the SP-16 or Digitakt, but it’s really fun to use and I found it quite easy to learn considering I’ve never used a tracker before. This is the first song I made on it.
Anyone else using one of these?

The workflow is really nice actually. It’s fun to use, which is the most important thing for me, and once you get used to it then it’s really fast to come up with something. The best thing about it compared to other machines is that you can see the entire pattern in front of you, so for example you can see the key/chord changes in one track and then easily change key at the same position on the other tracks. You can also select entire sections across all tracks and change the notes up or down, and as you change notes the pads show you if they are in scale or not. Things like this make it a lot easier to make complete songs than on the Digitakt for example. I personally don’t think it sounds as good as the Digitakt though. It sounds a bit thin in comparison, not sure why.

I used FastTracker on DOS when I was a teenager! I would be curious to test this hardware tracker to compare it to the workflow of modern machines
