I really never thought they’d add a song mode to the Digitakt!
i just installed the update and had a quick play, it’s been implemented really well, so slick. So fast to get a song going from a single pattern using the mutes. Thank you Elektron!-

Yes they worked really hard to make it as streamlined as possible. I’m on the beta team and have been testing Song Mode since July, so was lucky enough to have the opportunity to make suggestions and help shape it, so it’s great to see this finally released!

Looks like EZBOT is working on a new Octatrack template. This is how I tend to use mine. Takes a while to set up though so a template would be handy. Also, his effects sound better than mine 😂

I don’t have an Octatrack anymore (sold my old MKI years ago), but his templates do look good.

I always really enjoy Dave Mech’s “found sounds” videos in the Digitakt. very inspiring. I need to have a go myself at some point.
