Here are the tuning values I use for selecting specific notes on the TR-8S. This is useful if you want to program a bassline or a melody into your TR-8S or TR-6S using the built-in synth sounds or samples. It can take a little while to program in the notes, but it’s really handy sometimes if you’re using the TR-8S / TR-6S standalone and want to input a few notes without adding an external synth.

Came across this while searching for tutorials. Nice chilled out track using the Roland J-6. But does anyone have any info on this Prismatic Spray (the unit in the middle). I couldn’t find anything on google.

I was curious too, and couldn’t find anything in a search, so I went to his about info on YouTube and it says he is building a new synth called Prismatic Spray, so it looks like he’s running the J-6 through it as an effect unit.
