    • I bought a Polyend Tracker a few days ago. I don’t think the audio quality is quite as good as the SP-16 or Digitakt, but it’s really fun to use and I found it quite easy to learn considering I’ve never used a tracker before. This is the first song I made on it.

      Anyone else using one of these?

      • I used FastTracker on DOS when I was a teenager! I would be curious to test this hardware tracker to compare it to the workflow of modern machines

        • The workflow is really nice actually. It’s fun to use, which is the most important thing for me, and once you get used to it then it’s really fast to come up with something. The best thing about it compared to other machines is that you can see the entire pattern in front of you, so for example you can see the key/chord changes in one track and then easily change key at the same position on the other tracks.     • I found this handy online calculator for working out Track Length/Scale to M.LEN on the Elektron machines. This should be handy when working with different track lengths for polyrhythms.

    • I’ve moved my computer desk and file server to the other side of the room, so I can get my new dedicated DAW PC set up next to my synths. I need to get a better desk instead of the cheap walmart table, but this will have to do for now.
