The Sonicware SmplTrek sampler will be shipping this month. It looks pretty good. Did anyone preorder one? We’ll hopefully see some user videos soon.

The Sonic Lab Minifreak review is up. I had decided about two weeks ago not to buy one of these but this video has got me interested again!

Looks like Roland have released an official case for the Compact series.

A lot of people are using these, not Roland branded but might be cheaper.

I thought about backing the SmplTrek when it first launched on Kickstarter but with import duties it would come in at over $500 so I decided to wait to see what it costs once it’s available with U.K. retailers. It does look really cool
