I was just really lucky I guess. I saw a store that had one in stock just a couple of days after it was announced and quickly placed my order. It came the next day!

SH-4d Tip: The FAT parameter doesn’t seem to be available directly for the Sync and Ring models, but strangely you can still choose it as a modulation source in the matrix. Can be useful for fattening up the sound as these models don’t have additional oscillators to be used as a Sub.

The Sync model at least can be replicated in the SH-4d model, so you could gain Fat and other features including additional oscillators that way. I don’t know if there is ring modulation available in the SH-4d or 3d models (I don’t have my synth yet).
