When I created this site I went for the groups format because I enjoyed that side of things on Facebook and thought the synth community might like something similar without having to use Facebook account. But the site hasn’t taken off at all (even I don’t bother to check it anymore lol), so I’m considering my options, to close the site and lay it to rest or maybe use the domain to create a more traditional forum. If there’s still anyone out there reading my posts I’d appreciate your thoughts on this?

I personally find there’s not that many options for forums. We have Gearspace which I find toxic af, elecktronauts which I enjoy but it’s obviously a company forum so is targeted towards Elektron users (which I am no more although I still do visit), and modwiggler if you’re into modular which the majority of synth users aren’t so it’s a bit niche. Do you think we need another, more general synth forum? Or would I just be wasting my time and money trying to build a new community space that no-one wants or needs?
