Yeah, great jam. 🙂 And how is the sound with the iLoud-Speaker? IKMultimedia says: “The sound quality and fidelity of iLoud will absolutely blow you away”. Would you agree with this?

The iLoud has excellent sound quality and a really low frequency range so you can hear sub bass frequencies. I would definately agree that it is a studio quality monitor. However, while It’s great for general studio use, sound design and just general jamming, the stereo field is very small (due to cones being close together) so you couldn’t mix with it. For that I tend to use headphones.
I really do love my iLoud though and couldn’t do without it. Infact I have two! The first one I bought when they were released in 2014, but I used it so much the rechargeable battery died a cou…Read More

How to program a classic trance supersaw patch on the Elektron Digitone….
Using Algorithm 8 you can set Operator B to a Saw by setting the feedback to 60. You can then set Operator C to a Saw by setting the Harmonics to -7.00, then set the Level of Operator A to 70. Now you have two saw waves you can set the cross fader in the middle and then detune Operators C and B set at around 50.
You can add an additional sub oscillator (Sine) by lowering the ratio of Operator B to 1.00/0.50. Now adjust the Amp Env to add some release, and add some envelope modulation to the filter.
Copy this track to all 4 tracks. Now on the voice setting page Layer all 4 tracks so…Read More

Here are the tuning values I use for selecting specific notes on the TR-8S. This is useful if you want to program a bassline or a melody into your TR-8S or TR-6S using the built-in synth sounds or samples. It can take a little while to program in the notes, but it’s really handy sometimes if you’re using the TR-8S / TR-6S standalone and want to input a few notes without adding an external synth.
C2 (128), C #2 (117), (D2 (107), Eb2 (96), E2 (85), F2 (74), F #2 (64), G2 (53), Ab2 (42), A2 (32), Bb2 (21), B2 (10), C3 (0), C #3 (11), D3 (21), Eb3 (32), E3 (43), F3 (…Read More
