  I ended up buying an old EMX-1 in the end. So much fun! Will keep the ER-1 to use alongside it. The EMX-1 is so much easier to use than the new electribe 2 (less menu surfing) and has proper step entry which the new one lacks. Anyone else still using the older electribes?

I used FastTracker on DOS when I was a teenager! I would be curious to test this hardware tracker to compare it to the workflow of modern machines

  The workflow is really nice actually. It’s fun to use, which is the most important thing for me, and once you get used to it then it’s really fast to come up with something. The best thing about it compared to other machines is that you can see the entire pattern in front of you, so for example you can see the key/chord changes in one track and then easily change key at the same position on the other tracks.
